I have never meet you guys. We were in opposite tribes and you voted me on the first tribal at merge. I should just put bomb on this final two for not trying to connected with me but honesty I will vote for who I want and I will do riot at reunion!
Okey, lets do dirty work. Kim and Burton please try to convince me about your game and what moves you did in this pretty awsome season with boring people in finale but however. Try to convince me about vote before I drop bomb on your faces. No regrets.
Second Question is..... name all of jury as Marvel's characters and if you put me as my favorite you win my vote. Have fun.
Hey Whit! First off, I wish we had gotten to know each other a little bit better. From what I heard from others, you had a hell of a personality.
Kim and Burton please try to convince me about your game and what moves you did in this pretty awsome season with boring people in finale but however. Try to convince me about vote before I drop bomb on your faces.
My general strategy this season was to get in some strong alliances, then lay low until the game didn't go my way. And I stuck to that from the beginning. On the Read tribe, I made sure I had tight bonds with all the people who were there, and all the people who joined Read later on via mutinies. That put me in two tight groups -- one with danni/gabe/ciera, and one with gabe/nick. While I didn't make these alliances, my general social skill allowed me to become a part of them. I definitely used these alliances to further myself in the game, but I also had to put in a lot of social work to make sure that I was a part of them in the first place. I didn't want to be finding myself on the outs.
Once the merge hit, I felt like I was pretty well situated with my old tribe. I used these connections to power through the early merge without becoming a target. Others, such as Danni and Kim, eventually popped up as targets due to the way they were playing the game. But I didn't come up at all.
Eventually, there was an alliance made at the F8 of me/gabe/danni/morgan/sash. This alliance was going to take out Kim. But I didn't want to do that, so that's where I made my first big wave in the game. Half an hour before the deadline, I switched up the group to get Ciera out. That was one of the big "moves" of this season, caused solely by me. After that, I wanted to lie low again and not become much of a target.
Despite getting votes in the F6, I made it through the rest of the merge relatively unscathed. The time in the game where I really took power back again was at the F4 and F3. I won both of those immunity challenges, meaning that my vote became a lot more important. At F4, I was presented with the option to either save Danni by tying the vote, or vote her out. I chose to vote her out, because she was the hugest threat left on Read. The jury perceived her as the leader of our tribe, and I knew i wouldn't be able to compete with her.
Then at the F3, I was the sole vote to banish someone to jury. I had literally all the power. At that point, I voted out Nick. I felt that Nick actually played a much stronger and visible game than Kim. He made some big moves throughout the game, like forcing the Shirin vote. Also, he was pretty well liked on the jury. I never viewed Nick as Kim's follower; I thought the relationship was the other way around.
So hopefully you see that I did have some game! I made plenty of moves this season, and I definitely think I had a huge influence on the way this season came out.
Thanks, Whit. I'll answer your second question tomorrow. I fucking love Marvel, so this should be fun.
When Black Widow made her debut, it was clear that she was a strong character who don't take no shits. However, she just happened to premiere up next to a bunch of other HUGE characters -- Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, etc. So she was overshadowed by those big characters as the movie went on. This reminds me of Whitney. From what I heard of her, she had a very strong personality. But, she was ultimately not seen as relevant as the other characters on her tribe, and she had to be ousted. But, it's clear that she can stand alone by herself regardless.
Shirin: Storm (X-Men)
I chose Storm for Shirin. Both share a strong determination and work ethic. Storm is a woman who is able to get shit done even when the odds are stacked against her. This was true for Shirin -- she was able to maneuver through this game despite there being lots of obstacles in her way.
Coach: Dr. Doom (Fantastic 4)
Dr. Doom is a huge threat in the Marvel Universe. And he shares a lot of characteristics I think Coach has as well -- Charisma, controllingness, and perfectionism. Coach was the big leader of the Davis tribe and was someone I viewed as a big threat in the early merge. He had social skills as well as strategic/physical prowess, which is something I saw immediately and realized had to be taken down.
Ciera: Emma Frost (X-Men)
Emma Frost is the O.G Ice Queen (literally). She's fierce and fabulous, just like Ciera. Ciera was very up and in your face with certain people in this game, especially on her way out. However, it was clear that beneath that was a very cunning and smart player.
Gabe: Captain America (Captain America, Avengers)
Gabe is 100% Captain America (or maybe Captain Read). He wanted Read to stick together and, like me, didn't really like the fact that it was schisming. But Gabe still stood out as a strong player who was willing to do what it took to bring his team another step forward. Just like Captain America -- he is 100% a team player, and had a strategic mind to make that happen.
Sash: Thor (Thor, Avengers)
Sash is Thor! Thor is also a team player who is willing to do anything to bring honor to his people. Sash was solidly a team player on the Davis side and was a great asset for them. As his team crumbled around him, however, he had to use his own strength and abilities to make it further in the game. And he did this by taking advantage of the split on Read.
Morgan: Mystique (X-Men)
Morgan is Mystique. Mystique has the uncanny ability to mislead and distract you by transforming herself. Morgan was also the master of distraction and misdirection. She would tell you exactly what you wanted to hear, and do her best to make you feel comfortable. Then, she would be going to the other side of the game, and doing the exact same thing to them. She, like Mystique, was bold and unafraid to take risks to get herself further.
Danni: Jean Grey (X-Men)
Danni is Jean Grey, also from X-Men! Jean Grey is one of the leaders of the X-Men, and is a bad ass lead. Her powers are phenomenal and Grey is a tough bitch to take down. She reminded me of Danni in that aspect -- Danni was not afraid to take the leadership role and run with it. She used her position to her advantage to get herself incredibly far in this game.
Nick: Star Lord (GOTG)
I've casted as Nick as Peter Quill, aka "Star-Lord" from GOTG. This one is mostly based off of personality. Quill was fricking hilarious in Guardians, and Nick is a hilarious dude as well. They both also proved that they were strong, capable players. Quill is someone I think you'd underestimate in an alien race -- after all, the dude is just a human with no real abilities. But he was able to work around those disadvantage to become incredibly famous in the GOTG universe. Nick was also able to work through the game and proved he was more than willing to make the moves he had to to get himself further.
