First of all, I want to congratulate the two of you for making it to the final 2, thats something I have never accomplished, so I applaud both of you on getting there.

I have a hard time deciding which of you to vote as the winner. Both of your games, in my opinion were flawed to an extent and I just can't bare to decide which of the problems I find are more drastic.

I'll start with you, Burton:

When I first mutinied to the Read tribe, you were my favorite person. You were talkative, inclusive, kind, and assured me I would not be a target as long as you were around. That was greatly appreciated. I really felt like there was going to come a time when you and Gabe swooped me off my feet and took me to the final three and I sat there giggled and ate the breakfast they give to the finalists and you guys felt confident enough you would beat me. *Daydreams*

However, at merge you completely abandoned me. Not ONCE did you initiate a conversation with me. NOT ONCE did you care to respond to my very VERY concerned messages and overall you just blew me off as someone ~extra~. NOT ONCE did you strategize with me when we were merged. You might have thought you didn't need to, because here you are, in the final 2, and clearly strategizing with me wouldn't have changed the outcome BUT honestly it looks like you just sort of floated here and I really can't bring myself to vote for someone who just got lucky with the numbers and floated to the end.

Another thing you did that I absolutely despise is you telling me I'm going and insinuating that there really can't be anything done to change that. When people say that to an opponent, it diminishes their entire abilities and existence into failure. Its rude.

You're like the Lisa Welchel of this game. You're nice, and you got lucky you were always on the right side of numbers.

Kim:

I thought you were exceptionally boring pre-merge. That held true for post merge as well. During the merge you definitely amplified your gameplay but I think you made one huge mistake: You told lies that you really didn't NEED to tell. Here were my least favorite three.

(1) Until the last second, you lead on a group of 4 to believe you were voting with them. You were not. So four people you personally sent to the jury already have unkind thoughts about you:

(2) While you were equally as adamant that Danni needs to leave at 10, you then presented that situation to Nick as though I was deluded trying to make a move and exclude him when in reality you sat there and called both Nick and Ciera an idiot for not thinking it was a good time to send out Danni. This in turn made everything harder for... no reason because we ended up working together down the line.

(3) You didn't tell me about Sash leaving when I made it very clear I was okay with Sash going and you pretended to be voting Burton the whole time.

Burton:

(1) Had Read attended tribal council pre-merge where I was not immune, would you have made an effort to save me and vote Kim (as you had promised) or was that all a front?

(2) Given that you ignored me for the entirety of the merge and slapped me with monosyllabic answers, you clearly felt that I was a nobody for your game. Why should this nobody vote for you to win? 

(3) List 3 things Kim did better than you in this game.

(4) If this was a final 3, who would have been the third person you bring along that you feel you could absolutely beat.

Kim:

(1) Why did you feel it necessary to tell slanderous lies throughout the game when really your game could have glided forward without them?

(2) List 3 things Burton did better than you in this game.

(3) Pick 2 people from the Jury who would be deserving of a hypothetical final 2, and then tell me who you'd vote for and why. Please be sure to outline specific things in their game that impressed you.

Hey Morgan!

First off, yes, I did talk to you a bit less after the merge. Part of this was because I was busy at the beginning of the merge. Another part of it was, unfortunately, I was never too sure where your head was actually at. You seemed to be talking to everyone and trying to be everyone’s best friend. It’s a valid and honestly really good strategy, but it personally made me a bit hesitant to strategize with you and share information. Because I was never sure if you were truly with me.


Also, yes, I did tell you that you were going. I did this because I didn’t want to lead you on and lie to you at the last second. You had to go when you did. You were the biggest threat at that point, and if you made it to F2, you would’ve won the game. Likewise, you were a personal threat to my game. You voted out Gabe at the F7, and then you voted for me at the F6. Maybe I should have been a bit less blunt and maybe I should've given you a chance. But if I did that, I felt like I would've been leading you on since I was pretty damn certain of what had to happen in order for me to make it to F2 and win

To me, anyway, telling someone they're going is a sign of respect. I respected you enough to tell you what I felt needed to happen. I didn't want to lead you on. If I came off as diminishing your accomplishments, then I apologize, but that’s not how I was intending to come off.

To your questions –

(1) Had Read attended tribal council pre-merge where I was not immune, would you have made an effort to save me and vote Kim (as you had promised) or was that all a front?

Yes, I would’ve put in an effort. At that point in the game, I trusted you a lot more than Kim.  She was never really on, and I had no real idea where her head was at. You and I had a good relationship as soon as you mutinied. So, if we had gone to tribal, I would’ve pushed for Kim to go and for you to stay in the same. And honestly, I think that would've happened. Whenever I talked to people about what we would do if we went to tribal, a majority of the tribe made it pretty clear that they wanted you here over Kim.

(2) Given that you ignored me for the entirety of the merge and slapped me with monosyllabic answers, you clearly felt that I was a nobody for your game. Why should this nobody vote for you to win?

Morgan, I never viewed you as a nobody. It got to the point where I viewed you as a HUGE threat in this game. You had a way with words with certain people and, despite everyone hyping you as a threat, you managed to work your way to F5. That’s not a nobody, that’s a huge player. And because of that, I gradually couldn’t trust you as much as I did on Read. You became someone I had to get out, not work with.

Anyway, you should vote for me because I honestly feel like I’ve played the best game. I always did what was best for me and made moves when I felt like the game wasn’t going on me. I did this at the F8, when I changed the vote up to Ciera, and then at the F4/F3. I voted off two of my closest allies because I felt they were bigger threats to my game. I don’t think Lisa W. would have done that.

(3) List 3 things Kim did better than you in this game.

1. I feel like Kim was a lot more strategically aggressive than I was, at certain points. I would always hear rumors about how she was trying to flip the merged tribe into voting Danni or Gabe. 

2. She was better at snagging rewards, and then hiding what they really are. I didn’t even suspect she had an idol until Ciera called Kim out in her exit.

3. She got the minority to trust her once Ciera left. You and Sash both wanted to work with her over me and Danni, which is a move I ultimately respect. But she obviously had to do some playing and she had to make some promises to get you guys to trust her.

(4) If this was a final 3, who would have been the third person you bring along that you feel you could absolutely beat.

Assuming the F4 is the same, I would have brought Nick over Danni. Both of them were tough competitors, but Danni was the strongest of them all. The jury perceived her as the biggest threat, so taking her over Nick would have been suicide. Plus, since Nick and Kim played similar games, hopefully they would split the votes and I would come out with a majority.

Hey Morgan!! Thanks so much for the questions

First your statement; You told lies that you really didn't NEED to tell. Here were my least favorite three. I will address these more in the first question that you ask, but I want to tell you that you are completely right. I did tell lies that I didn't need to, in order to add on to my hated persona throughout merge. Let me further explain in your first question..

Kim:

(1) Why did you feel it necessary to tell slanderous lies throughout the game when really your game could have glided forward without them?

My entire reason for the slanderous lies, which you witnessed the most of was due to me not believing that I could reach this point, or glide forward, without them. To base it off your question, gliding forward and making it to the end for me was going to be difficult from Day 1 of this game. I needed to be hated by people, and that was my entire goal. I wanted to be someone that people didn't think could win in the end, in order to strategically take out people that were bigger "threats" in the end game. I wanted to make people not like me as they left, and I was able to successfully do that. I lied to majority of this jury and even Burton who sits next to me now.

The final lie that you listed regarding Sash was due to me not believing that you didn't have something more solid with Sash. Or also with Danni to then flip it on me, and at that point having Burton and Nick solidly wanting me in their end game. And I did believe I had better shots with them being honest with me over you. Plus, a better shot to win.

I knew I had to target people that were likable, like Danni, and that was only going to work by being hated. Which I successfully did throughout merge, time and time again. I wanted to keep people guessing about me, but also needing me in some way.

(2) List 3 things Burton did better than you in this game.

1) He made better social bonds with members of the other tribe and our own tribe pre-merge.

2) He was able to get here without lying to people.

3) He did better in the challenges throughout the merge game.

(3) Pick 2 people from the Jury who would be deserving of a hypothetical final 2, and then tell me who you'd vote for and why. Please be sure to outline specific things in their game that impressed you.

A hypothetical, better, and deserving final two would be Sash and yourself. Frankly, your tribe played this game 300x more then my tribe did. In my eyes, our tribe played it safe, got a majority, and ran with it for the most part. We would have been dumb to not have used that to our benefit. But strategically and socially, which is the two things that I enjoy the most in games: Your tribe excelled at. And the final 2 of your tribe was you and Sash. I saw the most out of your two games' as well to have that opinion. I feel like I would have been leaning towards you over Sash, due to your ability to betray your tribe but still have them trust you when needed during merge. Your ability to wedge your way into my tribe early on, and remain socially strong post-merge. Sash was also able to get me, and others, to love and want him around. I feel like you both played amazing games, but biased off what I know: I would vote for you to win over Sash.
