6. Cutlass=Type of sword used by the pirates
7. Jolly Roger=The famous pirate flag with a skull and crossbones on it
8. Davey Jones Locker = A fictional place at the bottom of the ocean. In short, a term meaning death. Davy Jones was said to sink every ship he ever over took, and thus, the watery grave that awaited all who were sunk by him was given his name. To die at sea is to go to Davy Jones' Locker.
9. Doubloon = the official currency of pirates
10. Fire in the hole = A warning issued before a cannon is fired.
11. Jack = a type of rum
12. Keelhaul , Punishment by dragging under the ship, from one side to the other.
13. lass = A way to address a younger female.
14. loaded to the gunwalls = To be drunk.
15. loot = Stolen goods; money.
16. Nelsons folly, Another name for Rum
17. Sail ho = Exclamation alerting others that another ship is in view
18. YELLOW JACK : A yellow flag flown to show there was sickness or plague aboard.
19. Swab = (1) To clean, specifically the deck of a ship.
(2) A disrespectful term for a seaman. i.e.: "Man that gun, ye cowardly swabs!"
20. stern = rear of the ship
