F14: The one where Coach reevaluates his place in the game

A thrill and a scare, the previous vote was quite exciting
It came down to last minute scrambling and was really nail biting
The results, while desired, will surely cause a lot of in fighting
Us castaways are here suffering, and JFP sits there eating his pizza and delighting

Wow! Such scramble, much madness. I think around an hour before the votes Shirin heard from Hali that she has an idol while also telling Ace she doesn't know how to vote. SMH. Essentially Shirin did what I debated and decided not to do, which is try to keep everyone happy. And it almost blew up in our faces. Hali revealed her idol which we all suspected her to have and Ace tried keeping the vote onto Rodney. Shirin and Sash were afraid of what happens if Rod self votes. At one point I think we had 4 of our votes on Hali and only 1 on Ace so in that case it could have potentially been Rod or even Whit going home seeing as Hali idoled. But ultimately we decided we would do a 2-2 split between 4 of our known votes. Whit and Shirin voting Hali, Sash and I voting Ace, hoping Rod voted someone (preferably Hali). Turns out he did and it was a nice 3-2-1-1 vote on Hali-Ace-Whit-Rod. That was an exciting evening to say the least.

So now Hali is totally on the outs and knows it. Not sure why she voted Whit. Hali hasn't even tried talking to me all day yesterday and today. I am realizing that Shirin is way more social than I am. Which is GREAT! I'd like to for once be able to mooch off of someone else's social connections because I do trust Shirin and I think her and I are pretty tight. I have a decent bond with Whit too. An ok one with Sash and Rod. 

Still totally expecting to be swapfucked but I will give it my all in this next IC. Even if it means Hali staying in and screwing all of us over in a swap. I am a whit knight after all

Sigh. Hali is trying to replicate what Jenna did in T4 and its not working LOL. This ain't the way to make a plea imo and while Jenna was successful in it, there were other factors at play. This is just sad.

What pisses me off is that Morgan, someone who willingly torpedoed her own game by being a paranoid neurotic egotistical stubborn nitwit, got saved by a twist and is now in a position to not only take us all out but to gloat as she does it. Its quite disheartening. Especially given how much I liked her right off the bat.  Oh well. 

So I do believe Hali will be booted unanimously. Thats not the point of concern. But what happens next is. Shirin and Whit both are scared. I am too. I talked at length with Gabe today. Telling my side of what happened. He seemed to have an open mind while listening. I also piled on how I am afraid of a pangonging and how I tried my best to get to know Hali and Morgan and all. Essentially I tried to paint myself as a nice guy who did what he could and what not. Didn't really work. I don't think but it was nice to be able to talk to someone from the "other side" and tell my side of things and what not.

Also working on forging a bond with Nick. He seems like a cool cat so it would be nice if I can maybe make something happen. Not too sure because chats tend to die with him. But ehhhh. I gotta try something so as to not get steamrolled by the "Morgan hates DAVIS because they are all cunts" express. Pray for Coach boys and girls. And keep that hope alive.
