It's a sodding relief that we won the challenge today. Not only because that means we won't be forced to go to Tribal Council, and not just because that means I won't have to test my theory of how much more the tribe wants me around than Morgan, but because the style in which it happened.
3 seconds. Wow. Talk about winning ugly, yes? If my tribe members had been a little less alert, or if the Read tribe had been a few moments faster on the draw, this all could have been reversed. I could have been one of the strong possibilities to go. Instead, I'm here for another round, and it's one of the Reads that must pay the price.
3 seconds is the price for someone's game tonight. I'm quite glad it's not a price I need to pay myself.
As for who will ultimately pay it on the Read side, I'll be quite interested to see how the vote will go with the exception of drunken Stacey. I can't quite say I expected it of her. I thought this was Survivor, not Flavor of Love. But I suppose getting completely knackered also bought Stacey some time, because I'm almost sure that she's on the bottom of Read's chain.
So who goes instead of her? I think it must be Nick or Dan. I don't know much about Read's dynamic, but just based upon the public interactions I've seen, Dan is likely considered weak (or at least bad at puzzles), and Nick doesn't seem to communicate on the level that is probably expected at this point. Burton could be a dark horse because of his late arrival, but I'm not completely certain that matters so much anymore. Regardless of who goes, it's not me and that's what's most important right now.
I'm looking forward to finally being able to participate again in a bloody challenge this next round. There's simply no way I could be put on the bench three weeks in a row, right?
...Right?
