I'd like to dedicate this confessional title to the one and only GARRETT ADELSTEIN of Sausage Island 9 fame who is currently backpacking around South East Asia and who I miss dearly (this is happening because Rodney is from The Netherlands like Garrett and he kinda reminds me of him personality wise).

Last round was way more of a clusterfuck than it should have been. After the mess that was the creative challenge in TSG I figured I'd step up in this one and try to take the reins, but I knew I wouldn't have enough time to pull out a finished product that was high quality enough to win us the challenge. I sort of got us started and it looked pretty chill, but then I left it up to the rest of the tribe to finish it off and they just did nothing and submitted my draft, which was at least better than Coach's attempt (I was gonna post a picture of it here but it turns out AIM isn't saving my chats), but still not exactly the most aesthetically pleasing thing ever. Needless to say, we lost, and I was legitimately concerned that I would get booted because I kind of took charge in the challenge/had been inactive otherwise. I'd basically just been hanging around the group chat all sly like and occasionally popping in and saying things that might motivate people into messaging me one on one (because starting a conversation myself would be too much of a commitment).
Anyway, I got Morgan on the hook and she started ranting about how there was an alliance of 5 that didn't include either of us and we needed to work together and OMG Sash and Shirin are a duo and what if one of us gets voted out. I just kind of let her talk and agreed to vote for Sash because even I can tell that he's overplaying like mad (I spoke to Gabe the other day and he's even trying to make deals on the other tribe already lol). Coach told me Ace had suggested that the vote be for me, Morgan or Vince and suggested that we just vote Vince since he'd been a questionable tribe leader (oh my god that logo/slogan. STOP.) and pretty inactive. I agreed to that too and waited to see which way the chips were gonna fall (mostly I was just stoked neither of the names being brought up were mine). At first it looked like the majority was leaning towards Vince, but then Ace popped out of nowhere and started talking about the alliance that Morgan had mentioned, suggesting that he, myself and Morgan vote Sash with Shirin (what), Vince and possibly Whitney, sending him home. Because I'm such an agreeable person I yet again agreed and went and submitted my (very cute) Sash parchment.
Today I got out of my final exam (YASSSSS MID YEAR BREAK) an hour before deadline and messaged Shirin to ask her if the vote was still the same. She said it was Vince and I was like ummm so should I change my vote then? and she said that I should if I wanted to vote in the majority which was kind of stupid because if I hadn't badgered her about it I never would have known and would've just looked like an idiot on the outs like Ace and Morgan do now lol. Morgan is now alienating herself probably on purpose and went so far as to rage quit the tribe chat and say something about how she never does challenges so she's kind of setting herself up to be next boot. sadly this doesn't really surprise me because she's seemed super emotional/dramatic/erratic since our first conversation and she even expressed wanting to quit like 2 days ago which was kinda fucked. Coach was kind of being an asshole though:
Like, what the hell? How rude. That alone has made me wary of developing a relationship with Coach because that shit isn't cute. I'm well aware Morgan can be grating but I just don't think that's ever an appropriate social response to someone suggesting a vote target that doesn't line up with your interests. Morgan could just be shit stirring but whoooo knows. I don't have a lot to go on right now so I just kind of have to accept what I get.
Aaaaanyway the Vince vote went through (he even self voted which is kinda disgraceful... like DUDE YOU'RE A RETURNEE) and I apologized to Ace afterwards and explained what happened. I told him I have his back (because I do, he actually makes an effort with me) and that Morgan is making herself a massive target which kind of shields him (and me) and everything seems chill. I then opened my crate and got an idol which I CACKLED at because I got sent to the secret location twice in a row FOR BEING INACTIVE and then I got a HII. HOW GOOD IS THAT? I do literally nothing for 2 rounds and get a free idol for it. SO CHILL.
Here's a quick <3 ranking of my tribe to finish things up (from best to worst):
1. Rodney (omg we bonded over RoLo's ranking and OITNB AND he reminds me of Garrett. at this point I can't not love him)
2. Whitney (she's like a literal clone of Marta but somehow more adorable. I'm here for it)
3. Ace (he still comes off kind of smarmy and condescending but I appreciate him making an effort with me and I think being in the minority this vote knocked him down a peg or two and made him more tolerable)
4. Shirin (she's OK. I like that she's playing Shirin and I've had some decent chats with her which is more than I can say for some others.)
5. Morgan (talks to me enough but way too off the rails and chaotic for my liking)
6. Coach (see above screenshot, don't have much else to go on)
7. Sash (seems like a massive rat, not here 4 it)
